The other day I was wondering why people (including myself) say, "I've got to take/have a crap/shit/dump."
Why do they want to take it? Wouldn't it make more sense to say "I've got to go leave a dump"?
I think my new year's resolution should be to leave a dump, rather than take one. But I guess the real issue is to avoid announcing you have to drop the kids off at the pool in the first place. Maybe that will be the resolution for 2008. Baby steps.

Of course, we could always go with the simple and non-detail oriented, "I'm going to use the facilities." I don't want to think of people and their bathroom antics - I'm not Little Richard!!
